Do we get the chick with the bird? for £8.99, that can't be a bad deal...

Until you catch a disease, aswell as the birds =op

Human flu medication call tamiflu will work against bird flu. This is confirmed. A bit too pricey for chicken farm who have thousands of chicken but for BOP no medication is too expensive, dont you think?

I watched a program on Avian flu late one night last week. It did say that Tamiflu had been given to people, it is not a vaccine, and it had to be given straight away, as soon as the first symptoms were showing. Up to date no positive results had been recorded. Most of the doctors are stock piling it at home so they must think its the best option they have. Are you sure it works for birds. Did anyone else see the program?

I live next to a waterfowl reserve and as yet we have hardly any geese, the place should be..... dare I say it 'gobbling' with Greylags from Russia, but nothing, has anyone else had similar experiences? I make it that they are about two weeks late here.

Comfortingly the RSPB think it won't come to us this year because it isn't in Western Europe yet. Moss sticking and head all spring to mind!
