anklets with straps and a fake eye

as some of u know went out with stephen and sean yesterday

never seen these anklets before but very nice indeed

normal anklet with 3 thick straps like a gladiator skirt but had another pair of straps glued underneath

and had a fake eye on them

coz seans harris loves hunting squirrels, she is an aggressive we one and he showed me that these anklets r so when the squirrels bite it dont cut through to his birds legs and feet and he showed me the squirrel bites as proof, they do their job, very nice indeed, he said the americans use these styled ones on their red tails so thats why he started it

anyone else use these type

yes i showed sean how to do them i dont put bewitts on my birds a small eyelet is on top of the anklets and the bell is cable tied on
you dont have lots of things on the birds leg its all on the anklet ;)

Well if i had the gear or knew how to make em i would moses,but leather aint my thing,i can work with rope all day long,splicing,braiding whipping you name it,but aint up to much with leather,if you could make me a set for, a male and female harris,il send you some leashes and dog leads......

here's some leads i make,a spaniel slip with rubber stopper,a lurcher lamping slip,and a braided leash,with swivel and stainless clip,works well on bow perch,id like ur views on the notless leash guys what u think,made some for a mate yrs back cos his female harris used to annialate his nots,got great reports from him,your views would be appreciated.....

I'm using similar on my FHH which took a nasty bite (three as it goes) from a squirrel 4 weeks ago, still treating the bird as the toe is swollen/ pussie

I keep away from wooded areas cos of the little f@@kers, but she loves em, some entertaining flights though, but at the end of the day it's not worth hassel

Havent really thought about it mate,il make you a couple of sets if you like,i cant promise the stainless clips though,cos i've only got a couple left my mate is supposed to be sending some from zew zealand,cos he can get thousands of em,they're actually long lining booms,for commercial fishing,but il see what i can do,let me know how long a leash you want and il make you some.....the leads i sell for £2.50...
