that cross bar is pretty hight up...that could be dangerous if the hawk decides to walk under it a few times and get tangled.(cuz they can be stupid somtimes)
Wouldnt leave your hawk on it for too long un-attended... apart from that it looks nice mate.

Thats just a portable, to take out in the field, and for while im training etc - so the bird won't be left unattended on it for very long =o) Will be getting a permanent one for in the mews (When i start buulding it=op )

I agree with stephen, chop it down, otherwise even when you are with your bird the leash length is going to be much too long, particularly dangerous if your bird hasn't been out yet and is keen (It will be more likely to bate at something). If it should bate with that length of leash, your bird will build quite alot of speed therefore energy, and when it comes to an abrupt halt, all that energy will be concentrated, into two small anklets and your birds legs could very easily be broken. Aim for you perch to be no higher than 12-13 inch of the floor if you can.
Length size of leash, perch, anklets are all related to the size of the bird and thickness of its legs.
