Moses go for a Luksander or a marshall.

Luksander model M10 with xlf

or

Feild Marshall 5 channel with Rt+ or power max

Transmitters depends on what type of bird you get.

If I were buying a new system I would go for the falconry electronics as the after sales service is spot on and Eddie is a realy nice bloke and always willing to advise (Plus he is a mate and lives just up the road <g>)

I currently use my old luxander reciever with a fmv merlin transmitter bought through falconry electronics.

The transmitter does exactly what he said it would, cant complain at all<vbg>

Moses - you got your Falconry Electronics kit yet?

Same situation for me - except Marshall v FE...

I've heard a lot of good things about the FE kit - they're made by WMI and use Marshall electronics at a fraction of the price...

It's a lot of money - but I don't want to buy any old thing as it'll be with me for years...

Aaargh - too much choice...

Yep, I`ve taken the plunge and ordered a Falconry Electronics TRX3S kit with the TX 9 Transmitter and all the other bits for my MHH.
Mate bought one as well for his FHH.
Let you know how we get on with them!

Went for the Marshall in the end (girlfriend was paying!!!)... had a good play with it and it seems great... (not had to use it in anger yet - touch wood won't have to!)

I suppose it's like car insurance - you'll only miss it if you haven't got it ;o)
