When my Babe arrives i want her to have a nice comfy home. I will personally carry her over the Threshold into her new home. As i speak my mrs has said 'You never did that for me' . In which i replied its all down to weight management!
So i need some good plans here. I have two mates a builder and chippy ready and willing .
I have sent a couple of requests to some falconers on here as well.
I just want a choice of designs to choose from and with 20% of Homebase products this will help too.
My bird will have only the best but no palace please. I have never spent to much on a lady.

I didnt think you needed planning permission!....
anything that has an area of square feet you do. even if its made of wood. and if your putting in foundations you defintly will. Also your not aloud to go over 6 ft. I aint got permission. this is what tthe engineers told me in work. But i wish i did when i built em. would risk apllying now that they r already built.

If it isnt taller than 13 foot and does not have foundations i.e shed aviery etc you do not need planning permision.

13 FOOT thats just under 2 storey
if you want an 8' fence you need planning wether it has concrete foundation or fixed straight to the gound especially in a built up area
13 feet sounds close enough lol, were ok, pigeon men aint lolololol
10 cubic metres? sureley thats not much
Garden Sheds, Greenhouses and other Buildings
http://www.planningni.gov.uk/images/QUESTION.jpg Do I require permission?
You will not require permission to erect a small building or structure LESS THAN 10 CUBIC METRES in volume in your garden, or within the curtilage of your house, such as a shed, greenhouse, aviary or kennel?
However Rules P - T apply Rule P. The building must only be for domestic use.
Rule Q. The height of the building should not exceed 4 metres, if it has a ridged roof, or 3 metres in any other case.
Rule R. No part of the building shall be beyond any wall of the house which faces a road.
Rule S. The ground area covered (excluding the original dwelling) must not be more than half the total area of the property.
Rule T. The building must not be used for keeping pigeons.
Note 9 - Pigeon lofts need planning permission as does the use of an existing shed for keeping pigeons.
You will need permission to erect a building or structure MORE THAN 10 CUBIC METRES in your garden, or within the curtilage of your house, such as a shed, summer-house, greenhouse, aviary, kennel or swimming pool? If you live in a listed building or the building or structure is to be used for
keeping pigeons. Otherwise no, provided you can comply with certain Rules (Note 10 refers).

Try this link to my site for general advice, most sheds do not require planning, but all depends on your area, ie conservation village etc
Cheers Heike
