breeding redtails

Can anyone give me some tips on putting a pair of redtails together? whats the best time of year and would you recommend female to male or vice versa? thank you.

no later than xmas, male 1st female at least 1wk later, plenty of grub plenty of nest material for them to play with and introduce on a day when you have time to be close at hand all day?
