I've found Wilkinsons to be the cheapest but as everyone says 2' x 1'. My local garden centre used to do it by the roll aprox 6' wide, but stopped doing it and I haven't seen it in that quantity since.

Although it must still be around!

i have got some ' astro turf type' plastic 'spikey' mats that I cut to fit pearches in the aviary and the birds like it. they generaly choose it over the other pearches. I have never had any problems with it. not very good for large areas, but good for covering smaller pearches

They are £2.99 from wilkinsons and are good stong plastic mats that will last for ever.

TheZuffler fillout your profile and then people closer to home may help you too, but I do not think you will get a better deal than the one from Jim, that is cheap!:supz:

Couple of points here, there are several types of ' astroturf' ( or stuff like it) Fox warns against the use of the cheap stuff as it can actually make matters worse rather than better re bumble foot etc( its on one of his Vids I think) chepaest place I know for astroturf , is 'astroman' has loads of offcuts etc and is based off the A14 near huntingdon ( if you do a yahoo/google seatch you should find him .
