excellent news. get him out there and get him taking more game. these birds were made to hunt. they are programmed to hunt, hunt, hunt. after a year or 2 of displays etc they should be entered into hunting.
well done and keep it up. nice weight he is flying at too. get him going and well entered and you will reap the rewards of it. well done.

Went out Sunday but the bunnies were not coming out to play, but i slipped him at a rising cock pheasant , or i should say he slipped himself and he got so close, just grabbing a talon full of rump feathers.
You should have seen the look on his face!
Try him out on the golf course wednesday after some bunnies.

I've been trying to give my Harris' access to the local golf course as well, but the greenskeeper freaked when I made the proposition. How'd you get access Hacker?

I just told him it was safer for the golfers than me shooting the rabbits

I have been out with my Harris Georgie Boy flying him in a forest area of mature Scots pine.
He is starting to follow on well and due to the trees, at a great height.
Leading out from the trees is a large area of scrub and grass which is the home of loads of bunnies.
There are no large trees in this area but he is already hunting from the fist and flying out for little sorties.
Managed to grab a bunny by the bum before it piled into the gorse, but unfortunatley lost it just as i got near to help him.
Will take him out again tommorow to see what he can do, all helps to get him fit.
