Why would that perch be anymore uncomfortable than a tree branch or unsafe?;-)

i was thinking the sharp edges? would u prefer to sit on a square or a circle? could b easier to get splinter's in also. Just a few thoughts...

It looks OK to me, as it is plained timber, if I was to nit pick I would put the timber so the bird had more of a flat piece to sit on.

hi guys, i use to have carpet on the perch(still do on the perch under the roof) . but it was gettign soaked and it was holding water so it was always wet. so i stripped it off last week and will be replacing it with some astroturf as soon as. and my birds called rolf hannah

Sean,

What surface do you have...Pea shingle?
And those Bars (bamboo) looking for them myself how did you fix them in

Sean

yea minty i use pea gravel, and i drilled the bamboo before nailing it, as the nail would split it. the framework was 3inch think, so it would the perfect distance between the bars and mesh.

Morning Sean,
Good Mews Mate, and if it's any help to you I use Mopstick Handrail for some perches in my Mews, cause it's a good size for HH feet and easy to keep clean.
And easy to fix Astro Turf to if needed.
