Unfortunately returned home today from 5 days in new york got through flight and baggage claim finally through passport control and yes i can turn my phone on so the first thing i do is call my friend who was looking after my spar on speaking to him i noticed he sounded strange and eventually told me he had some bad news the spar had settled first night fine ate a crop and was ok in the morning he then gave her a head as instructed an proceeded to work when he arrived home it was dark so he went to the mews with a torch and could not see little spar at first he was puzzled but then on further investigation he saw her in the corner unfortunately dead.
I could tell by his voice he was upset whilst telling me the story and i to am truly gutted i am enquiring about an postmertem in the morning but just wanted to say thankyou and all admiration to the heartiest bravest bird ive ever flown she will be sorely missed.

WHAT WILL I DO FOR REST OF SEASON?

Sorry to hear of your sad loss, it's sods law isn't it, always happens when your away and someone is doing you a favour. Bit too late in the season to find a replacement now even if there were one available, just have to look forward to next season. Untill then remember the good flights and hunting trips you had with her.
Regards
Terry
