Has anyone done this ?, is it easy ?, whats the best methods ?..what feathers are best to use ..?, we've had plenty of crows lately we could use those tail feathers .but I'd like raptor tail feathers for my bird rather than change his tail to crow .

he's a harris hawk , i've never tried to hood him
its easy, but hooding is important, but if u think he will not be angry aganist u u can hold the hawk in clothes between ur knees and do the work. Its an easy task, teh best if u crash a carbon arrow or a carbon fishing stick and use that material as imping needle. I always do with carbon.
