Imprinted vs Parent Reared

What's your opinion on this, what are the pro's and con's of getting imprinted or p/r Harris Hawks?
I've only worked with P/R HH, heard a lot (normally bad stuff) about imprinted birds...

From what little I gleaned from the first falconer I was blessed to meet, one of the problems he had with imprints and partial imprints is that they can be a little noisy. The advantage, is that because they aren't entirely sure they're hawks, they're almost fearless.

Don't take that as gospel, though, I'm sure there are other people with better information than that :)

Thanks anyway! I've worked with several imprinted birds, but never with a HH... I'm curious to know if the noise is the only problem. I have an imprinted female brookei peregrine that sometimes jumps at my head, she even lands on the top of us some times...

I'm interested in this too, not just on the results but the actual process, what did you use for guidance what age did you start at etc...
