i will be flying. its the best time no other sod is about you get peace a quiet to get on. i love flying on Christmas day. The best part is coming back in after a fun few hours of flying and sitting down to a Christmas meal with a beer.

yip, its illegal to hunt game on a sunday and xmas day.
pheasant, grouse (red & black), moorhen, coot, mallard, woodcock, snipe.
and to take these species on any other day you need a game licence. (excluding moorhen).
wonder how many people actually abide by this as there are many shoots on where i go hunting on a sunday.
