its really up to yourself, i know a guy who flys in the summer, but he says its very easy to loose the bird, and cant use ferrets

Hi Mike. Different people have different views on this. if you want to fly your bird through the molt you would just keep her going right through next season. i always feel the birds look scruffy and you will have to know how to imp quite well. alternatively you could put the bird down in feb that way it should be through the moult quite quickly.
i always use a suppliment with all of my birds. this i feel helps them stay in top condition. these are available from varios people i use a1raptor or you can buy from Neil and Juliana at the ibr.

sounds good but i was just thinking its not really fair on my harris to go back into moult when he hasnt been going 4 tht long but maybe the birds doesnt mind?

wouldnt be fair on the bird to put him up again so soon, keep him going for as long as you can until his tail feathers start dropping, then put him up. Just my way about it though mike, dont have to listen to me lol

Fly until it drops a deck feather, Then loft it in the sun and feed up on defrosted pigeon.
Its all you can do.

Thats why I suggested feeding Pigeon, your options are very limited but I can do no more than tell you what I would do after picking the bones out of what you have said.
You may loose the first few weeks of next season but you will be back on an even keel for the one after.
