B&Q in the doormats section. 1 mat should give enough for a couple of perches at least.

Got some off brian . Its better than the standard stuff as its not so long (strands) where food can get caught in-between. This is almost like a carpet astroturf which can be easier to clean out the Bacteria.

WHY astroturf?? Bit of a fallcy and most falconers already use it but 2 things 1) it is designed as a dirt trap!!! 2) still creates pressure points on the feet!!! Sand is far better!! Although do not feed birds on blocks with sand!

This new Astroturf is not a food trap. That is why it was recommended by Forbes.
That's good enough for me.

i just bought 17meters of the stuff to fit out my new mews ,,,,, direct from jay mart who make astro turf it cost £375 i will put up some pics tonight

the astro turf can be lifted in seconds, i washed it today ,,,,, lifted powerwashed disenfected,relaid,, both the harris and gos in under half an hour
