im gonna try to get more hunting days maybe 10 to 15 and God willing before the hunting season im gonna get one
at the moment im trying to buy as much stuff for the bird that will last for yrs, got my bow perches and digital scale ordered early november from falconry fabrications i asked martin to send it after im back after the new yr as u know i was away in hols, spoke to him 2 days ago he is gonna send them oot this week sometime
so i got 2 portable bow perches
a tree perch for the mews too

loadsa leather
mickeys beeswax and ko cho line
all my tools i need
gonna get the medical stuff afterwards for cleaning and looking after the hawk
clives bird lure excerciser
a few mangla gloves and at least 6 falconry gloves :D lol new ones from pakistan and already made up jess;s with the help of clives original and also anklets and eyelets
arab jess kit
telemetry kit put my name down for an offer
brian was so good before he moved out of his old house he offered me his 3 mews for free as a gift, love that lad but when he moved away i was in pakistan i had to take it down when the new people moved in, that was away in november/dec. so missed that so need to build mines now.
after that is all sorted and God willing then will be my day for my beloved bird
im so eager, i still check every week the ibr bird mart and the falcons bird mart and every wednesday and saturday and check the yellow and blue ad traders for any birds for sale, but i wanna do it right
wish me luck bud
cheers :)

cool mate,no rush is there. I can see you are really keen but as you said wait until you have more hands on experience with fellow falconers.

well lads i tested it on my very first falconry glove, it was an old one and a very hard one , the index finger and thumb were basically hard as stone, i did wash it last yr and applied ko cho on it and it didnt make it supple enuff
it was given to me by steven, not stephen here but another steven who helped me oot during the early days , the lad who sold me the falcon :D
i took some advice of other folk the way they wash their gloves, so i washed it in warm water using washing liquid and a wirebrush, i have to say wirebrushes r awesome, they really clean the **** oot, also took me a long time to get the ko cho embedded in the leather
dry it and the glove was still warm, put some mickeys beeswax in the microwave, put a lil bit of oil in it and left it in the microwave for a few mins tll it was all melted
and then started applying it on my glove using a cloth
try to apply it before it gets cold and hard though haha
left it for a day, made a mistake left it in a very cold and damp room, checked the next day, glove was cold as f*** but i swear and no bullshit, the glove was supple and soft but very cold, i couldnt bend the thumb and index finger much, but after washing it with a wirebrush and applying beeswax i have to say, it was bendable and felt very soft
so i put it in a warm room yesterday and checked it today, pure brilliant
i wont be using anything else anymore just mickeys beeswax and a wirebrush
well done mickey, very good indeed mate just as u said it would be

In Japan, they file the meat residue off the glove (with sandpaper or or a special file)
