The bird in question is a female Lanner. She's around 1 going on 2 in spring. She wasnt flown in her first year due to bad feather damage and was put into moult. She is just finishing now!
Reason I was thinknig she was a food imprint is because everytime I get her food out, even from the freezer or if I have a closed hand she will "chup" and "burr", get excited and a bit grippy but nothing seriouse. Being a Lanner she is very friendly and relaxed. She jumps and steps up to the fist, has a fat weight of around 1lb 6 and last night weighed 1lb 5 1/8 but she hadnt been fed. I havnt done seriouse training with her, keeping her weight up for moulting and now she's finishing off. Im hoping she'll pass a few more body feathers because she still looks like an Immature.
Does this mean I'll have to differ training to prevent screaming? Will she get agressive maybe as she gets older? She's a lovely bird I as she isnt mine, I dont want to spoil her!
Thanks if anyone can help!

She's very relaxed, except for when food might be coming, she is so gentle I'm trying to get a thinner glove as I just cant feel her!
Any help appreciated!

Today,
back to 1lb 6, and she was jumping upto 2m, just normal rations which I made her do abit of work for instead.
She gets most of her food in the glove but some on her perch and in the mews.
Im hoping she's going to be OK to get up and flying and then we can put some muscle up on her and then she'll do a good job for displays.
