Lost Gyr Falcon |

Yesterday during the storms we lost some birds from our Hack Pen. At first we thought there was 2 birds but have now realised that we lost 3.
1, Silver on White Gyr Falcon Female 2006 bird wearing 2 rings 1 DEFRA and 1 KFCC telephone ring.
2, White 7/8 Gyr x Saker again Female 2006 wearing DEFRA ring and KFCC tel ring
3, 5/8 White Gyr x Saker large Male 2007 again 2 rings were fitted badly Damaged tail so this one will not go too far.

Defra has today (12 November) confirmed Avian Influenza in turkeys on a premises near Diss on the Norfolk/Suffolk border after preliminary tests were positive for the H5 strain. The premises also contain ducks and geese. All birds on the premises will be slaughtered.

I have been asked to start a post on emergency first aid, so if anyone has anything specific to ask or want to know then ask away or PM me.
Firstly - crop tubing. I think this is the most important aspect of first aid, and there shouldn't be any real excuse why someone can't perform this simple procedure.
