Inflamed yellow tongue .

Hi ,I have noticed today that my male red tail has a slightly enlarged tip of his tongue ,it is also yellow and looks inflamed .
Can anyone give me some advice please .I have looked to sea if this is a sign of any poticular illness ,to no avail.
Any advice would much appreciated.

Missing Barn Owl - Edinburgh

Our young and inexperienced barn owl managed to escape from its enclosure in Corstorphine, Edinburgh on Tuesday 3rd Jan 2017 and was chased by gulls and crows. He has anklets and jesses on, has a ring and is microchipped. Any sightings please call 07952887439. Thanks

Barn owl (9months old ) decreases food intake

Hi all-

My barn that I have hand reared is now 9 months old. I've had no problems with her until the last couple of days where I've noticed she has been limping and has decreased her food intake. She's been leaving uneaten chicks on the floor. She isn't a feathered bird,she lives in a aviary which has many different sized perches for her to perch on as well as a nest box to keep her warm.
