Just a quick one, is it worth wile feeding vit and min supplements when moulting or for that matter at any other time of the year, to give you an idea, current diet is rat, prime quail, DOC, rabbit alternated from day to day.
Didn't know if it would help or not, I have to give supplements to some of my reptiles and wondered if it would have any benefits to the bird.
I have a feeling the diet is varied enough not to but would be grateful for others opinions please.

My male harris hawk has just snapped his anklets when he was on the lawn and flown off.I had only just pit him on the lawn as i was cleaning out his mews when i heard him baiting,looked outside to see him heading for the nearest large tree.He landed in the top took one last glance at me and then flew off.Ive had a look around but with all the leaves on the trees and the fact that he is in very high condition i dont have a clue how im going to find him.Panics set in already as i have never lost...
