Eurasian Kestrel, fluffy, yellow spot inside her mouth, vomiting.

My female Kestrel is not eating, it has small yellow spot inside her mouth. I took her to the vet and he gave me a pill (Anti-Bacterial) and told me to hand feed it, it was good for 3 days and yesterday I found her vomiting! it never happened to it before. I think I gave her more because she was better! and the yellow spot is reducing its size. don't you think it was the reason of her vomiting? or if there is any other reason?

Thank you all.

Since nobody answered, let me tell you guys if you had such a problem with your bird and follow Vet's line like I did to rescue it.

I knew the bird is not okey and I couldn't wait to someone reply this post (Which isn't helpful) for such an issue. So I went to the vet and he looked at it, then gave me a pill I think Anti-Bacterial Pill, I gave it to it under the Vet's schedule, and now it is very healthy.

Hi,

I don't think it was a case that nobody could be bothered to reply but to the best of my knowledge, there aren't any active members who are vets on here so knowledge can only go so far. Taking it to the vet was the best thing to do and it sounds as though you have a treatment to try now which is good. I hope this works out well for you and sorts the problem.

Kind Regards,

Bradley

Thanks Bradaz, I have posted in medical department, I believe there are! even the experienced falconers can help, but for such a problem Vet is the best answer. Now the Kestrel is very healthy again.

That's good to hear, the main thing is that the bird is healthy and you now have an idea of how to deal with the problem if it comes up again.
