Re: Microwave defrost

I've never tried it with hawk food, but whenever I try it with meat for home use the edges of the meat seem to get cooked slightly.
I wouldn't recommend it.

Re: Field meets Scotland

Hi Graham

I fly a Goshawk at game but to be honest I don't bother with field meets.
I used to go out with a friend and with each a dog and hawk and that suited us fine.

I used to belong to the...

I use a Black Falcon receiver with a Falconry Electronics transmitter.
I think that system would be slightly dearer than your amount.
Marshalls is probably the best system out there...

Re: Tiroides glands on falcons

Hi Jose

I have used Thyroid on my Goshawks.
I don't know if it actually assisted them to moult any quicker though.
I think putting the bird in a stress free environment and plenty of sunshine...

Re: Back in the game after 2 seasons out

I considered getting one of these Czech gosses, but getting there and back was a bit too far for me.
I hope you keep a diary of her when you get her mate.
Are you going for imprint or P/R?
