Default Complete Rabbit and Hare Hawk Reprint

Complete Rabbit and Hare Hawk Reprint

This title was first published in 1999, selling all 1200 copies in less than 10 months. Two reprints followed. I am now on the verge of publishing a third slightly altered reprint and would ask anyone interested in a copy to email me (no pms please) with full contact details. My email is: m.s.hollinshead@blueyonder.co.uk
I will not be printing a huge number and all those who reserve a copy will get the very first out of the boxes, signed.
As before the book will be hard covers, but the central colour photo section has been dropped, with many new black and white photos spread throughout instead. The book is priced at Ł25 plus post.

Here’s what the critics said first time around

‘It is on the subject of the Harris’ hawk that the author shines … It is obvious he understands the species in a way in which few falconers do ... this book should be compulsory reading for anyone flying, or contemplating flying, a Harris’ hawk …’
International Falconer

‘Every stage of the bird’s training is carefully thought out, but flexible enough that it caters for each individual bird’s strengths and weaknesses.’
The Falconers Magazine

‘Every new method, every novel idea and every statement made in this book is backed up both by practice and scientific reasoning.’
Irish Hawking Club

‘This is probably one of the most descriptive accounts of ferreting [to hawks] ever written.’
Hawk Chalk

‘All novice falconers should be made to read this chapter [Dealing With Kills] …’
Countryman’s Weekly

‘This book is a must for all rabbit and hare hawking enthusiasts.’
Scottish Hawking Club

‘Simply stated, bravo …. this is a first-rate, top-flight falconry book’
American Falconry

‘Everyone could benefit from this book.’ BFC Newsletter

All the best,
Martin

Just a quick update on the reprint.
I expect the new edition to be available within the next two months. As I mentioned, I am only printing a small number and would urge anyone interested in reserving a signed copy to email me with full contact details.
All the best,
Martin
