Chris, I don't know of any copies, but I do use Doug's Bandolero. Best bag I've ever owned. It weighs next to nothing, holds plenty of stuff, easy to clean, has a waist strap like his hawking vest so it doesn't flop around like a traditional bag. The cost is only $65 U.S. you would make out like a bandit on the currency exchange.
Griff is using one also, great bag.

Jeff

Quiver - I dont know if this is any help but I ordered a gel insert for my motorbike saddle from the States (cheap and I cant find them in the UK) on the 1st Jan, it arrived on the 5th. You'd be lucky to get that sort of service from a UK supplier!

Chris, it would depend on how you had it shipped. Normal mail service between the states and the UK usually takes about two weeks. Doug is usually pretty quick about getting his orders in the post.
I think you'll like the bag.

Jeff

i just ordered some hawk boots from dragon hoods, he quoted me a price to include p&p which I paid. the following day he said he had posted them but charged me wrong price for p&p and he owed me a refund. It got complicated as he didn't know how to get it to me in sterling only dollars, (it wasn't that much), he then asked if I would be happy if he sent me an Abba (casting jacket) instead. That was a collossal difference in price between what he owed me and what he was giving me. The boots arrived a couple days later, magic, now I can do anklets without losing my fingers in talons. The Abba is on it's way.
If there is one thing the americans excel at, it's customer service.
well done Brian kellog and dragon hoods

Chris just realised whom you are , ie conversation with rob R ( hello m and the gloves I am working on my own ' bandolero' type of bag but I believe if I am desiogning something for it to be substrantially different to anything else on the market and in my eyes at least an improvement. Now that is a massive call for any of dougs equipment. does this make sense?
