Default Last week's of the season.

A few shots to come from our last two weeks on the hill. Season 17 with this female Golden Eagle who thrived during the peak of storm Doris.

Nice Barry,

Do you get much trouble from wild eagles.

Yes Gary. This year, just one altercation between our male and a sub adult female. Historically we have had full on attacks on our birds by a wild pair, and more amazingly, a courtship display from a wild male to our female, which, it has to be said, she seemed very impressed by, and she spent a good deal of time flying with him until light started fading. Very scary!

I am not much of a fan of 'bird and dead thing' pictures, but I quite like this one.
