Didn't fly him at all last week, as forecast was ***** and was really busy at work, so fed him up. First day back out yesterday , flew awesome the pheasants couldn't keep away from him, two flights two kills😁 missed the first flight as the cockbird broke as I was trying to get my phone out of my pocket while the dog was pointing, chased it down over the kale field and took it as it was attempting to bail into the road hedge. Second flight I managed to catch on the phone, I could just see him hit it out of air at the far end of the field, then followed it down into the trees. All the best Chris

Nice one Chris, the sounds you were making during the chase in the first clip were all promising lol. He's clearly not afraid to let the dog know to back away from a kill either. Nice stuff, keep it coming.

Happy Hawking,

Bradley

Lol, thanks Bradley, yes I do get rather excited, I have always said when I stop getting the buzz I will give it up.
Kind regards Chris

Thanks Steve, he is normally totally quite in the field, think he was just telling the hound off, he is silent at home when I am out, but if it's flying time the wife says he starts when he hears my truck coming down the lane. But once flown he is silent. Kind regards Chris

Spike is the same usually, but he can be quite vocal if I am around, this is obviously linked to the regularity of being flown and success, plus I have had him since he was 13 days old so to him I am still a Parent / Partner, but once in the field he is silent.

Had a rabbit today, dog flushed it from behind some old barrels, Gos took it within about 30 yards, then rode it rodeo style until he managed to get hold of the head, hence why are you looks very wet. Kind regards Chris
