Default Eagle Hoods.

I've received an order for 2 x Golden Eagle hoods from France. here's just a few pics I took myself going through the process:

There are approx 100 stitches per hood. Each hood is sewn to produce a !light-tight" seam. Both hoods have been dyed "mahogany" but the hood on the left is still wet after being "blocked" so it is darker. The next stage will be to add the braces, throat lash & top knot etc.

I've attached the "trimmings", and rounded off the eye pieces into a smooth curve to prevent any eye abrasion. Almost finished!

At Last! Eagle hoods now complete and tomorrow will be on their way to France. I've burnished the leather which has a lovely grain to it. Please log onto www.falconryequipment.com for more details
