Default New Falcon on friday

HI all

Picking up my new bird on friday, Red-Nape x Saker. He is currently 3/4 through the moult will post pics as soon as i have got him settled. Looking forward to a good season crow hawking.

He is just over 12 months old now, flies at 1.14. I flew him for a weekend abt 3 months back he is mustard on crows.

My mate brought him from some old guy down south, think the breeder recently died! My mate has currently got 2 harris hawks and just hasnt got the time to fly him.
Checked the paperwork and the breeding paperwork says Red-Nape(Shaheens) X Saker but the DOE said a few months back that there are no breeding Red Napes in the country so they were putting it down as barbary x saker but now they have decided that there are breeding Red Napes and are going to change the paperwork for me.

Got a pic that i took abt 3 weeks ago will get more posted when i have picked her up

I think there are breeding red napes in this country.

Are you sure he is a he, 1lb 14 oz flying does seem a BIT larege for a male.???

1lb 15oz hunting weight.

Hawka, thats what I mean, I would be very suprised. Male pere/sakers don't make that.!!!!!!!!!!!
