I suppose they wouldn't be too different to your average Eurasian Sparrowhawk, apart from the fact that the Levant weighs a little less. It is well noted that a Sparrowhawk isn't a beginners bird, unless circumstances bear which doesn't happen very often. They can be dynamite birds on small to medium sized garden birds, such as Thrushes, Finches, Larks etc. I've heard many success stories of them on this type of quarry but also that beginners must steer clear. I'm starting out myself, this is the general opinion, from my viewing and understanding. Best of luck with your Falconry career and hope you achieve everything you want to!

Bradly, they are as far different as a species can get in the same genus before being listed as something else.
They are to accipiters what Aplomados & NZ Falcons are to the falco group As far as a falconry bird, well that depends on your ability as a falconer They are best described as mini black spars |
