Shocking stuff- I would have been pooing myself steve! well done with early treatment and the great recovery,well done!!
I must say I'm colour blind,and when folk talk of noticing red/green etc in mutes I do worry as I wouldn't notice!!

Good luck with the rest of the moult

just started reading your thread.......brilliant, not much info on Eagles so interesting reading.

well happy for you and his recovery. Point that really needs emphasising to all is being vigilant on mutes and the birds demeanour and behaviour

Thanks a lot - he looks great! I try my best to ignore the urge and behave, but it sure isn't easy. Highly frustrating, but since I don't fancy spending time behind bars - which I'm afraid would eventually be the result if I allowed my passion to over-rule the current ridiculous Swedish legislation - I stay within the law. Getting regular updates with pictures on nice threads like yours, helps fill the void somewhat at least, so thanks for sharing.

Weight 8lb-5 7/8oz at 10-00am ( no pellet ) brought up later today weighed 1 3/4oz miss day.

Weight 8lb-0 1/8oz at 9-40am fed back end of rabbit 1lb, front lawn.

Weight 8lb-2 1/8oz, at 10-00am, miss day, weathered on the front lawn most of the day.

7/6/14
Weight 7lb-14 7/8oz, at 9-00am, today i gave him a guinea pig, white in colour he jumped straight on it at first, but wasn't interested in eating it, he walked around with it in his foot pecked at it, and then left it, after recent events i naturally started to worry and after 1/2 hour gave him 6 day old chicks 7 7/8oz which he wolfed down, he is having a great moult this summer, never seen so many feathers dropped at once, currently growing 3 tail feathers & 2 primary's, the new feathers on his back are black in colour.
