It's the rarest eagle in the world and Nicu, I think you should see one live for they might be gone in 20 years or so, I hope you could visit the Philippines in the near future.

AMAZING NEWS FROM OUR TEAM IN APAYAO
PEF Biologist Ron Lemente Taraya and his Indigenous Isnag field crew on April 30 successfully found the leftover of eagle Ingagan's first successful hunt six days after she was released. She has been feeding on a young Philippine macaque for the past three days as indicated by her radio-telemetry signals.
The eagle named ĹIngaganö, the four-year-old female Philippine eagle that was rescued in Apayao on April 21. She was eventually released back into the wild on April 24. The Philippine Eagle Foundation is currently monitoring the presence of Philippine eagles in the province of Apayao in Luzon.

It's great to see another a successful release and that the individuals seem to be getting themselves back on track after they've been released.

Regards,

Bradley

Indeed a great news Thanks, and they have been discovering eagles on places that are not usually seen there before just like in Nueva Ecija and now Apayao, I think it need more research in many part of Luzon esp. to the Mountainous region.

They seem to expanding and developing their territories and spreading out over the Philippines which can only be a good thing. It sounds as though they're focusing on the Luzon region now? If they work to improve the habitat(s) in chunks then by the time they have covered where they want the Eagles then hopefully they'll be a stable population. Keep me posted on the work, I always enjoy reading the progress.

Thanks,

Bradley
