Eleanor is now on 7 kills I have been struggling to get her to take cock pheasants I cut her weight to 2lb 9.5 but she was even less interested then and pulled off them after 20yds most of the time occasionally flying them until they put in but then she would throw up instead of following them in. Yesterday she head a 400 yd flight on a hen bird flying below it over a big valley taking it as it tried to climb up a hill. I had the walk from hell to retrieve her.

I am putting her weight back up to 2lb 11 as she seemed to fly best at that.

Her manners are still excellent she can get a little excited when I make in to dispatch the kill but only a little mantling and the odd call she is completely non aggressive and a pleasure to deal with and silent.

She is now on 10 kills the last 3 have been mid air binds.
Today I went down in the valley as it was windy she only had 1 flight on a young cock pheasant which she pulled over a massive bramble patch and ended up in the middle of the brambles I had to crawl 12ft on hands and knees through the brambles to Get hold of the pheasant and pull it out. The cover is still mental worse than I have ever seen it at this time of year.

She is still silent and her manners are impeccable a pleasure to fly.
