To help people that are new to hawking, which of these sets would you buy online and why?

What is your experience using them and how many sets have you tried?

When I choose bells its essencial that I can hear them, dodgy ears.so looks and price dont mean much to me.

Hi Paul
I used to get the original Lahore Bells from Robin Hague and got some imported back in the 80's. The sound got better as the metal harden up unfortunately they'd crack shortly after.
Valarde bells, Counce or Peels bells would be my choice these days

Given the choice Velardi bells every time. Think they have a tone way better than anything else I have heard.

would not buy bells online, you have got to hear the tone of the bell before you buy them.
used to buy velarde and dave noble bells but now with my hearing not as good as it used to be i have found that the cheaper pakistan bells suit me better but dont last as long as the other two brands i have mentioned.

Only ever used one set myself and didn't like them......do you not think they are a cheap slightly sub-standard type of bell.
Even though i've only tried them on a bird once i have given plenty a shake at the falconers fair.

Just my humble opinion.
