Hi ,welcome to the forum.a good book i can recommend is Falconry and Hawking by Phillip Glasier. it really is a superb book (in my opinion)and covers all aspects of the practice with accuracy and great detail. It also has patterns for making all your leather gear etc. a bonus on its own!

Welcome to the IFF, Lisa!

There is a lot of great info here in the archives that you can read as well! You can use the search feature to look for specific topics, or just browse the different sections!

Good luck to you and please feel free to ask questions!

I should be down in Truro within a couple of months and will help out if time allows. I would also reccomend Training Birds of Prey by Jemima Parry-Jones, pretty much a recipie book for training and Understanding Birds of Prey by Nick Fox, the Bible of falconry.
