Default Sparrow Hawk Sighting

Sparrow Hawk Sighted, unsure if its wild. spotted in Belper, Derbyshire

Hi Callum, sparrowhawks are very common. Most people who recognise one from a distance can see them two/three times a week. Was there anything in particular about it that made you think it might be a falconry bird?

Im just down the road from you mate we have loads of spars about i get one in my garden twice a day if there is one missing then fair play for posting

nothing in particular other than it didn't seem scared of me, i would have thought that if it was wild it would have taken flight.
