Default Thanks and ICBP Falconry Fair

My son Elijah aged 10 was lucky enough to be invited to fly at the ICBP Falconry Fair so here's a few pics from it.

I also want to take this opportunity to say a huge thanks.
Falconers can have a bad reputation especially when it comes to talking about fellow falconers or newbies. So I want this post to show just how much kindness and how many genuine people/falconers that have played a part.

It was quite a journey getting ready for the fair but Elijah has had a huge amount of kindness shown to him along the way which carries on since the fair. I'm going to list those that have had a part in this they know the ways in which they've helped... (In no particular order)

Gary Lawrance
Masters Mews
Allan Gates
David Rampling
Jemima Parry-Jones Mbe
Mark Parker
Rachel Giddings
Adam Fry
Ian Fry
Bob Dalton
Hooded Talons

If I've forgotten anyone then I apologise.
Wouldn't it be great if we could all take a leaf out of their books to be there to help fellow falconers?

Elijah is very passionate about falconry and especially Falcons and he's made a great little falcon here with a bit of help.

Elijah in action.

Reflecting after his last demo

It really is and that's why I felt it was good to share with others. It has encouraged him so much he is flying so high at the moment.

I bet he is, really good to see a kid with a passion and focus for something that is being supported. I have had lots of positive support on here too.

Reuben its great to see the future generation getting the help and support that is needed from fellow falconers. It takes a lot of courage to get up there and do what he did.I know as I have done it in the past,he did very well I was there and watched his performance.Well done Elijah...!

Thanks Mark. It's been very touching for a parent to see their child receiving the kindness and encouragement he's got.
