Hi my name is John.

I have always loved raptors and owls, the opportunity to own my very own hawk came up just over 12 months ago. I am the keeper of a mature female Red Tailed Hawk called Kara. I think Kara would say she is my keeper....... the bird has no shortage of character 😊

I have assisted rehabilitation of wild birds of prey, currently caring for a wild Peregrine Falcon which was brought to the MSPCA unable to fly. She is a beautiful bird who had lost all primary feathers
