I think yes.
Alsou, the japanese MHE ssp. is not restricted as al in Japan islands. It bred too in China, Russia and possibly North Korea.

Despite the fact that the japanese governments forbidd use of MHE in hawking, the chinese seems to be the one who will maintain this tradition.
