with him takeing over my life

ive forgot my manners and thought i'd just put a big shout out for Jim Entwhistle who very kindley offered to do the initial imprinting of this Hawk.

but with all the hassle with the paper work and a slight mis-understanding it wasn't worth it in the end and by the time i got him home i might as well have completed the job myself,

the gesture was very much appriciated and im sure Jim knows that,

Thanks again..

Pleasure meeting Rodney for the first time last night (well I have met him before but he wasnt picked out then!).

Very laid back, settled young Goshawk, big and pale - just how we like em!

Going to change to twice daily feeding out the garden now,Havn't bothered weighing him in over a week, introduce the lure soon, going to put a bell on his tail in a couple of weeks and start calling him off in afew weeks but no rush, just see how things pan out but not thinking about doing that much with him for a while,
