His weight was up a bit after yesterdays kill, this was shown in the fact that he out flew two crows but didn't follow through. He winged around for a little threating some crows and it was good to see this little fella twist and turn in the wind. Looking forward to tomorrow, pleasure to fly.

A rook today, post pictures later. This wee fella is now a landfill bird, so is flown as such. Whilst describing to my friend Rab on the phone his last two chases, one of which was a crow on passage. Now this crow was about a quater of a mile away and some one hundred feet up from the Big man. But he quickly closed the gap and stooped him into the trees, where luckly this crow made it's escape. The rook which he took wasn't about to get Nick Fox jealous, but for the falcon a great confidence booster. From about two hundred yards away a single rook was feeding, he again very quickly ate up the ground on his target. This rook new it had to make it to the saftey of some near by cover, but just before it got there the falcon rose above him and thumped him to the ground in the stoop. The rook gamely limped into the cover but was taken quickly by the falcon.
