Default Making my own hood - trying

Hi all

Trying to make my own hood, just need to know if anyone has a hood size chart? I need to convert say hood sizes 0.75 - 5 in millimetres can't find one anywhere. I would measure the hood that i have which fits perfectly but I'm round my parents and don't have it with me and I don't have a printer at home for the hood pattern print out.

If I succeed in making a "good " hood I will keep posting so you can have a good giggle at my attempts.

Thanks all.

Phil

Cool cheers. I'm gonna give it a go, wanted to for ages. I've finally got myself all the kit I need to have a go. I've made my own jesses and anklets with some success but the main challenge is the hood. Like I said I will put pics up as soon as I've made one.

Thanks again.

Well for those that are interested I finally made my very first hood. It's a bit shabby but not to terrible, I guess practice makes perfect so I will be trying to make many more. A comments welcome.

Thanks

Phil

Well done bud, "good job"next one, try stitching the hood inside out and when finished turn it the right way and the stitching becomes invisible, as such

Cool cheer for that. I would also like to try different styles like Dutch and Arab.

Been there too Korik and around the same era!!, I think it was only Martin Jones and John Cox making gloves and bags?.
