That's not good. I've dealt with cataracts before, but this sounds serious. I think you should be at the vet when they open tomorrow. Don't mess around with an eye.

Best of luck,
Jannes

If its not normal then get it checked. It is totally impossible for anyone to advise you over the internet without seeing it!
If the whole of the front of the eye is couldy that suggests inflammation of the cornea - which can be caused by infection, ulcers, foreign bodies etc etc, some causes may not be that threatening, but some may be and result in the loss of an eye if left untreated.

Have you ever scratched your eye? It hurts like hell. I'd be pretty sure you'd want treatment if you hurt your eye, so why not get your bird treated??

What are you going on about mate, I never said don't get it treated and I used the word probably, I'm not giving a diagnosis or telling him what to do with his bird,

I'm not worried about the word "probably" - its was the word "just" that concerned me! You gave the suggestion it would be ok in a few days and that was bad advice - it may be, but then again it may have lost an eye in that time. And my point also seems to have been missed - "JUST" a scratched eye is painful as hell.

Ok mate, not trying to give any advice, what would be the best way to treat a scratched eye

Get it seen by someone qualified and who know what they are doing. Like any wound they need assessing to ensure there are no remnants of a foreign body within it, then antibiotic cover as well as pain relief - and keep a close eye on things to ensure that any ulcer is healing and not deepening.
Just think how irritating a simple piece of dust or hair in your eye can be? never mind an actual penetrating/scratch wound to the cornea.
