I am sure someone will exchange some hoodblocks for some of your products.

Some of the old timers on my side of the woods used to use the following trick, it involved taking a children's party balloon and filling it with pratleys putty, whilst in side the hood, slowly and carefully you add the pratleys, once you are happy with the shape you let it dry and remove the balloon. I have tried it and it works, it will never be as good as an original block with the correct pattern though, unless you have allot, and i mean allot of time to tweak and adjust both the pattern and block. By the time you have started playing with CAD and all of those other fancy machines, i believe and agree with Grovsey, you would have been better off just buying a good set with the patterns. I have found through my amateur hood making escapades that if the pattern and block don't match, you are simply wasting valuable time and expensive leather, not to mention the extreme frustration. Just my 2c
