I am sure you are right, it is only natural for her to hunt primates. I was kind of joking. Given the oppurtunity I would love to fly such a bird at such formidable quarry. But there would be a little part of me hoping that she would not notice the similarity of me and the monkeys.

Sorry, but I don't know how to post pictures yet. You will just have to take my word on the resemblance. I wish I could post a picture of my cockatoo's face when I give my saker a quail.

I could always wear a costume. Have you ever seen the comparisons on the internet of George W. Bush to a chimpanzee? Its spooky. And anyway, if got the chance to go hunting with Hawkeagle I would happily accept the risk!

Hunting the natural prey of this eagle would surely be classed as falconry.
Taking it to the extreme but surely still falconry.

Maybe not. There is a big population of macaques in Thailand. Macaques are in Thailand what in Venice are the pigeons.
In some regions macaques are a plague -mostly at the tourist attractions, because they are feeded by the tourists. Macaques are able to transfer diseases to human beings ( I think also rabies ! ). Circa 90% pet or captive macaques are carriers of the herpes-B virus. This virus is harmless to macaques, but infections of humans, while rare, are potentially fatal.
Maybe in some regions it is necessary to reduce a big population of macaques.....
Macaques are only in India sacred.
