Default Unusual 13th tail feather

My Male HH is 11 yrs old, in his first year he lost both decks when the telemetry was ripped off in brambles, they never grew back. On the last day of last season he had another ripped out by telemetry which never grew back. He has a 3 feather gap in the middle. In the last month a tail feather has grown from a previously unused folicle outboard of the 12 and its a juvenile pattern.

I am now going to tag his feet, which I have never been a big fan of. Do most of you tywrap to the anklet eyelet or bewit to the leg?

If using a leg mounted transmitter I personally would use a bullet jesse attached to transmitter through anklet eyelet .
Hope this helps.

Not sure what you mean by "bullet jesse attached to Tx through eyelet"

Hi Nige

I mean attach a short bullet jesse to your transmitter and fit bullet of jesse through anklet eyelet.....
Thinking about it would be best used with fixed flying/hunting jesses.

I have problems uploading photos from my PC !
If you want to PM me a mobile contact number I can take a photo and text to you ?

Nige

Check Ebay item 272455891221

This is the type of bullet toggle I mean to attach transmitter....

I hasten to add these are not mine and I do not know the seller !

The ones I use are made by my friend/mentor !

Hope this helps.
