Last Thursday a guys Harris we were flying with bated from its spike and ended up on my gos was not a pretty site we got them of each other a got him back to the car put the hood on him and gave him 10ml of electrolyte and drove to the vets went straight in to surgery ended up with 16 internal and 16 external stitches the vet said he only survived the shock due to administer in the electrolyte, the question is where can I buy this many thanks

Bit was mate, spoke to the vet this morning and gave me the OK to remove the collar to aid his eating stitches healing nice so just light exercise till Wednesday then once the vet has checked him over will need to bring him down nice and slow and start over again to build his confidence if it's been knocked

I'd like to replace the liquied Lectade solution for my avian First Aid pack.
They don't seem to make it any more, at least I can't find it on the internet. Does anyone know of a source ? I'd rather get the ready mixed, liquid Lectade as then I know it is already at the correct dilution. Thanks. |
