Default KevinF Intro

Hello folks -

I flew a redtail and latterly a cast of Harris hawks some 20 years ago, but quit when I realised it was time to take the advice I was giving to would-be falconers: don't even think about it if you do not have the time to keep a bird fit and happy. My work was very demanding and the falconry (and hawks) suffered.

For my sins I was secretary of the Cotswold Group of the BFC for a term. Having been mentored as a beginner by kind and very patient members of the club I went on to return the assistance, helping a number of beginners myself.

Now, with retirement looming I am pondering a return to the sport I still hold in much affection.
