Hi Tim

Welcome to the IFF. I hope this finds you well.

I think what you are referring to is the Heinz Meng Perch (do a google seach). I'll see what I can scratch out for you and maybe fax it. If you chat with Edmund or Adrian they could also give you some pointers as most of the Western Cape guys use them. Do a search on here and you should find some good ideas - swing perch, loop perch (like a pole perch for falcons). I did a quick search but to be honest I need to run but here are two links

Tim I've just checked I think its the Renz Waller Perch (round perch) not Meng (I knew it was a German). Basically a round perch like a drum and the bird is tethered on the inside, so can jump from edge to edge.

Now I'm late for a meeting will try and find something further later. Hawk for the Bush as a very old design of the Waller perch.

Cheers
Trev

You could try a high potating block perch ... ive had my saker on one now for months ..
And alot of las have gone for them with the gosses..

Alll it is . is a 4 ft stem or 5ft with a spike and a block head on the top that rotates with a very light ring on .

Not only does it stop them breaking feathers it puts a chest on them like a bull dog...
